Doug Magnus, president and founder of Conditioned Air Systems, Inc., started the company in February 1983 and has guided CAS growth from a small, family business into a regional powerhouse. Today, Doug oversees the major departments and helps keep the company's big picture in sharp focus. Prior to opening CAS, Doug worked in the HVAC business for 20 years, giving him more than 40 years combined experience in the industry. In addition to his direct involvement in the company day-to-day, Doug invests his time and resources in the community working with a number of charitable and civic organizations.
Kenny Gee has been at CAS from day one. Beginning his career in the HVAC field in 1980, Kenny has earned a highly regarded reputation for his depth of knowledge and expertise. At CAS, his responsibilities include oversight of all three major departments, as well as direct supervision of the commercial department. In addition to his technical knowledge base, Kenny has a proven track record working with individual contractors in virtually every situation. Kenny proudly served in the U.S. Marine Corps for four years. He also served in the U.S. National Guard.
Rick also started with CAS on day one, eventually working in every aspect of the business. As Project Manager, Rick puts his experience in the commercial, residential and service areas to work in cultivating his many enduring relationships with top builders in North Georgia. He also has developed substantial experience within the commercial system upgrade niche, helping make his personal vision of CAS as a market leader in upgrades into a business reality.
Baya has been with CAS since 1993. She began her career as an assistant to Doug, Rick and Kenny, learning the business from the ground up. Today, Baya handles the behind-the-scenes details that keep every project on track. She works closely with Kenny in all areas of the commercial department and is involved in estimating project costs. In her role as CAS secretary/treasurer, she tracks and evaluates all company finances and helps keep all departments on budget. Baya holds an undergraduate and master's degree in business.
Andy joined CAS in 2002 and began his HVAC training in the field. Since then, he has had extensive training in all aspects of the industry. Prior to joining CAS, Andy worked in the environmental resource field. He holds a bachelor's degree from Penn State University in environmental resource management. He currently manages and oversees daily operations of the Service Department. Andy is also responsible for system upgrade sales, department oversight and preventative maintenance agreements.
Brooke joined CAS in 2002 and leads all marketing, advertising and public relations efforts for the company. She also organizes company activities and meetings and manages inter-departmental relations. Active in the community, Brooke is involved in board and leadership positions with the Greater Hall Chamber of Commerce, CASA and United Way, and is a member of the Hall County Junior League. Prior to working with CAS, Brooke worked with U.S. Congressman Nathan Deal in Washington, DC, as scheduler/office manager. She holds a bachelor's degree in corporate communications and a minor in marketing.
Teresa Woods joined CAS in 2003 and is currently our Controller. She graduated from North Georgia College with a Bachelor of Business Administration concentration on Accounting . Teresa earned her CPA designation in 1999 and has worked in the financial industry for 25 years.
